About me

Having been a property lawyer for the last 20 years I have decided to follow my true passion, to support women and their partners so that they can try and have a positive birth experience and to help by giving reassurance and practical support during the first few weeks with a new baby.

I have 3 children aged 17, 14 and 10, all of whom were born in water and I have personal experience of both hospital and home births.

My qualifications and experience

I am currently a trainee and have attended 5 births, including the births of my sister's 4 children and have had helped a number of families post natally.

I volunteer as a 'breast buddy' providing help and support with breast feeding at my local Sure Start Children's Centre
